The stage.
Where would we be without a stage and professional sound engineer?
The best sound.
BrightFest 24 has an excellent stage with professional sound equipment and engineers.
Like last year, the stage at BrightFest will once again be the The Stage Box, provided by The Stage Bus.
Guitarists are expected to bring their own guitar amps, which will be miked up by the sound engineer. DI boxes are available for acoustic guitars.
As usual, the drum kit will be provided by Cliff Rennie from the band Cutwater. It will be fully mic’d up by the sound engineer. Drummers must bring their own breakables (drum sticks, snare drum and cymbals). You may also want to bring your drum seat and kick drum pedal.
The bass backline will be a Gallien Krueger 1001RB head, with 2x12" Neo212 and 1x15" 115RBH cabs, remarkably similar to the rig from Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This backline is used by your stage manager, Werner, in the renowned tribute band Red Hot Chili Peppers Experience.
Singers may use their own mics if they prefer. In-ears monitors can be accommodated, please let us know in advance.
Keyboards will be connected straight into the PA.
To accommodate the very short transition time between bands of 15 minutes, we ask that all bands use the equipment provided where possible.
